Fabio Lanzoni, widely known simply as Fabio, is an Italian male fashion model who appeared on the cover of hundreds of romance novels throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Fabio has maintained his look with the use of injections such as Botox but is otherwise natural with no other plastic surgery procedures.

Is Fabio Staying Fabulous with Plastic Surgery?

Fabio Lanzoni, better known simply as Fabio, made a career out of being the hunk that made women swoon on the front of romance novels. Now that he is 50, Fabio still looks as hunky as ever, leading Make Me Heal to wonder if the male model has been using plastic surgery to enhance his looks.
Fabio clearly takes good care of himself, working as hard on his body as he does on maintaining his long, shiny hair. His hard work has paid off, as Fabio still makes regular appearances in TV and commercial work and is still one of the most famous male models.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J Aston says, “In my opinion Fabio is looking very good for his age. I estimate he has maintained his daily exercise regimen and has a healthy lifestyle.”
At 50, Fabio shows little signs of wear and tear, but he also looks very natural and rugged, which is unlikely if he had any invasive plastic surgery. Fabio likely uses good skin care products and fake tanning creams to help his stay wrinkle-free. He may also dabble in occasional Botox injections, but he still has crow’s feet, lending to his natural good looks.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Fabio still looks great, and his facial features appear completely natural. He has signs of crow’s feet, which are more evident when he smiles. It is possible there was some Botox done in his forehead, but overall, if anything was done it was minimal.”
Fabio’s work with I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter is just a sign of his healthy lifestyle and has likely eliminated his need for age-defying plastic surgery.
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden says, “Fabio has aged very well. He has a few wrinkles around his eyes and forehead but they are barely visible, and he could have had some Botox to the crow’s feet to treat them. His body looks good so I think living a healthy lifetsyle may be the reason he looks so young.”
If Fabio does decide to go for plastic surgery, he could benefit from some Botox injections.
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Fabio does not look like he has had any invasive plastic surgery. His skin does appear shiny as if he may have had topical skin treatments or laser. He could use some moderate cheek filler and Botox.”
Whatever Fabio is doing to stay youthful, he is doing a good job of it and Make Me Heal wishes him well on future projects.
